Meet Janelle

I believe that genuine relational connection is at the heart of meaningful healing. In my work as a therapist, I strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and encouraged to explore your inner world with honesty and compassion. My goal is to build a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, collaborative, and deeply human.

I work with adults and teens, supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, and patterns that feel difficult to break. I understand that each person’s story is unique, and I tailor therapy to meet your specific needs, pace, and goals.

My approach integrates EMDR, somatic psychology, IFS, and other evidence-based modalities to support deep and lasting change. I value a whole-person perspective, helping you connect with your mind, body, and internal system so you can move toward greater clarity, regulation, and resilience.

I am passionate about helping people build healthier relationships—with themselves and with those around them. Whether you’re seeking relief from past experiences, wanting to understand yourself more fully, or hoping to create new ways of coping and connecting, I’m here to walk alongside you with authenticity, curiosity, and respect.

Outside of my work, I find joy in spending time with my husband and kids, going on walks, listening to audiobooks, and connecting with friends. These parts of my life keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, presence, and meaningful relationships—values I bring into the therapy room as well.

I am a firm believer that ‘your story matters’.  I am passionate about seeing individuals find wellness and freedom from the inside out.  I understand the value and privilege of listening and consider myself a confidant, advocate, and resource.  I highly value connection, authenticity, bravery, and compassion.

What to Expect

I center my work on a strong therapeutic relationship, offering an emotionally safe, attuned, and comfortable space. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing comes from being truly seen and supported. I integrate EMDR, somatic psychology, and parts work to help you access both the cognitive and body-based layers of your experience. Together, we work to process trauma, shift long-standing patterns, and strengthen your capacity for regulation and self-compassion. My goal is to guide you toward lasting change through evidence-based care and a deeply supportive therapeutic relationship.
In therapy, I help you explore how past and present experiences influence your life today. As we examine the impact of earlier events, attachment experiences and used strategies on current life circumstances, the healing process is collaborative and integrative. I utilize EMDR and other evidence-based approaches to guide and support this work.
I firmly believe that 'your story matters'. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship, grounding our work in trust, rapport, and genuine connection. My style is compassionate, kind, and direct. If you feel we may be a good fit, you’re welcome to reach out to schedule a consultation.
